Who We Are & What We Do
Off the Record Pittsburgh is an annual musical satire of Pittsburgh news and newsmakers.
The show is sponsored, written, produced and performed by active and retired members
of three local labor unions:
SAG-AFTRA Ohio-Pittsburgh, which represents television and radio broadcasters,
actors and other entertainment and media personalities,
the Newspaper Guild of Pittsburgh, which represents writers, editors, photographers, artists and other journalists currently on strike against the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette,
and the Pittsburgh-based United Steelworkers, which represents 850,000 workers
in various industries across North America.
Since 2001, the event has raised more than $600,000 for Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank while providing an annual night of entertainment, fellowship and fun
for the people of the city we love.
Off the Record XXIII will be held on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023,
at the Byham Theater in Downtown Pittsburgh.
